Interview Manelli.fr launched its italian website
Last February the online store Manelli.fr launched its website specifically dedicated to the Italian market. They chose to use Dixit's new Prestashop translation module. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Manelli.fr for this interview.
Dixit > Would you like to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hi, my name is Guillaume and I am the internet project manager for the French and Italian websites, Manelli.fr and it.Manelli.com.
Dixit > Could you tell us about your online store?
We are specialists in professional clothing (restaurant, medical, work, security footwear, etc).
Dixit > When did Manelli decide the needed to expand internationally?
It was about 2 years ago; we felt it would be the right move for us. The new website was rolled-out in February 2017.
Dixit > You had chosen to use the Dixit Prestashop module for your translations, why?
Our decision to use Dixit.com was made based on the advice of our agence SEO A3 Digital. We also chose Dixit for the particularly attractive price.
Dixit > You have been able to use the new module, what are the advantages for you?
The Dixit module offers quite a number of benefits:
- The speed with which the product information sheets can be put online.
- The speed at which the team translates.
- The module also enables us to see which elements on our product sheets that are missing (meta description, title, summary, description).
Dixit > Can you give us your opinion of new services available from Dixit?
- Remote back office intervention for the translation of the various website elements.
No intervention has been carried out as it has not been necessary.
- Implementation of a dedicated translator team.
This was a major + given the high number of product sheets we needed to have translated.
Dixit > Do you have comments on the quality of the service, the price and the way your project was managed?
None, the project management was very reactive.
Dixit > Do you have an anecdote or quote you would like to share with us?
Not really, but I think that unless you are prepared to make an investment nothing is possible in terms of company development.
